My Contribution to AR Pets
Worked as the UI programmer, controlled global variables and helped display them on the screen.
Created our main progression system, including a reputation bar that saves with each unique pet
Organized and conducted play testing sessions to expose bugs and other issues
Meaningful Progression
The progression system inside AR pets has multiple levels, you can achieve different levels of friendship
To keep track of this, I created the reputation system that adds reputation for every activity you do with the pet
Save Systems
This reputation system is saved on restart as well, so you never lose track of your progression
This game is meant to be played overtime, so having a flawless save system is import to the integrity of the game
