My Contribution to AR Pets

  • Worked as the UI programmer, controlled global variables and helped display them on the screen.

  • Created our main progression system, including a reputation bar that saves with each unique pet

  • Organized and conducted play testing sessions to expose bugs and other issues

Meaningful Progression

  • The progression system inside AR pets has multiple levels, you can achieve different levels of friendship

  • To keep track of this, I created the reputation system that adds reputation for every activity you do with the pet

Save Systems

  • This reputation system is saved on restart as well, so you never lose track of your progression

  • This game is meant to be played overtime, so having a flawless save system is import to the integrity of the game
